At Family Resolution Services we understand that family disagreements can be emotionally challenging and affect everyone involved. Our service provides a safe, confidential, and respectful environment where families can address conflicts, improve communication, and work towards practical solutions.
Whether you are experiencing marital difficulties, separation, parenting disagreements, or wider family disputes, we are here to support you.

Please note, we presently only offer our services to applicants within the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester and within a eight mile radius of Cheadle Masjid. If you are not from these areas, we will not be able to assist you.
Meet the Team
Our team combines Islamic scholarship, education, and community experience to provide compassionate, faith-sensitive family resolution and support services.
Shaykh Abid Khan

Shaykh Abid Khan is a graduate of Law and a teacher by profession. After studying the Islamic sciences with teachers in the UK, he furthered his studies at the prestigious Al-Azhar University, where he graduated with a BA in Islamic and Arabic Studies.
In addition to his undergraduate studies, Shaykh Abid holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Education. He currently serves as Director of Education and Assistant Shaykh at Cheadle Mosque and has consulted for numerous charitable organisations, including National Zakat Foundation, WaterAid, and READ Foundation.
His combination of Islamic scholarship, educational leadership, and community engagement enables him to provide balanced, compassionate, and practical guidance to families facing challenges.
Shaykh Abdi Salam

Shaykh Abdi Salam began his academic journey studying Computing at the University of Salford. He later pursued Islamic studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he completed studies at the Institute of Arabic Language and went on to study at the Faculty of Shariah. His diverse educational background reflects a unique blend of contemporary and traditional scholarship. Shaykh Abdi Salam serves as the full time Imam of Wythenshawe Masjid.
Shaykh Rehan Salim

Shaykh Rehan Salim is a postgraduate in the field of International Development from the University of Manchester.
He began his Islamic studies in the UK with the respected Open School before travelling to Egypt, where he focused on Arabic and Islamic studies and completed a college diploma from Al-Azhar Institute. During his time there, he attended the classes of Shaykh Ahmed Taha Rayyan and other distinguished scholars.
Thereafter, he travelled to Jeddah, where he continued seeking knowledge alongside his professional work. His studies focused particularly on Shafi’i fiqh, hadith, and other Islamic sciences under local scholars. He also completed a blended BA degree in Islamic Law (Shari’ah) from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
Through his diverse academic background, international experience, and grounding in traditional Islamic scholarship, Shaykh Rehan provides thoughtful, faith-sensitive guidance to individuals and families seeking support, reconciliation, and practical solutions rooted in Islamic values.
