Etiquettes of the Masjid

  • Put your phones on silent while in the Masjid.
  • Do not talk (loudly) in the prayer hall whilst others are praying.
  • Keep your children from disturbing others’ salah.
  • Do not put shoes on the floor. Place your shoes on the racks or they will be removed and placed in a bin.
  • If you use the Masjid's facilities, tidy-up after use.

"Verily, each of you is in a private conversation with his Lord so you should not disturb each other. And you are not to raise your voices against each other (even) in recitation." (Abu Dawud)

Car Parking

  • Be considerate of our neighbours.
  • Do not park on the pavement preventing a buggy or wheelchair from passing.
  • Do not block anyone’s driveway.
  • If your car is blocking another, immediately after salah, please move your car to prevent delays to others.

“Do not cause harm or return harm. Whoever harms others, Allah will harm him. Whoever is harsh with others, Allah will be harsh with him.” (Al-Sunan Al-Kubra)

Fire Exits

If the fire alarm sounds leave the building by the nearest exit.

  • Follow the Fire Wardens instructions
  • Remain calm
  • Do not use the lift
  • Do not stop for your shoes or belongings
  • Move as far away from the building as possible
