SUMMARY:Little Gems Mother & Toddler Group
DESCRIPTION:A group for mothers and toddlers. \nCome along to the masjid and enjoy a safe space for your babies and toddlers to explore and grow with us. \n\nOur groups range from birth to 4 years of age.\nBreakfast snacks are provided.\nWe ask for a donation of £2 per family for the event.\nPlease note the event only runs during term time and is for ladies only.\n\nIf you are planning to attend please register your child here.  (There is no need to repeat the registration if you have already completed the form on a prior event). \nPlease note you can register your attendance to the event by returning to this page the every Tuesday before the event. \n  \nOur session operates with the following agreement: \n\nDuring the Little Gems sessions I understand that I am required to supervise my child(ren) at all times.\nBy playing with my child\, I can demonstrate good behaviour in the way I act and speak\, encouraging sharing and positive play.\nCircle time is a social time when we sit together to eat; this helps to keep the room safe and clean.\nLittle Gems sessions are special times for parents/carers and their children. Mobile phone usage is restricted for emergencies only.\nLittle Gems and Cheadle Masjid operate a no smoking policy; therefore there will be no smoking during the session or on Masjid premises.\nAt the end of the session parents are encourage to help tidy away all the play equipment.\nLittle Gems sessions are spread across the Masjid campus\, I understand I am solely responsible for my property and that Cheadle Masjid is not responsible for any lost property.\nI understand that by not adhering to the agreement\, the play leaders reserve the right to ask meet leave the session with my child and in extreme circumstances cancel my registration.

SUMMARY:Lifesavers Course
DESCRIPTION:Through the power of unity on a single day of action\, every year\, thousands of members of the public are taught Basic Life Support skills in Mosques around the UK & internationally. \nHistory \nLifesavers started in 2014 as the ‘BLS Mosque Project’\, teaching life-saving skills in three Mosques in London. By the Mercy of Allah\, the project has expanded each consecutive year – being taught in Masjids up and down the country \nThe Programme \nThe BIMA Lifesavers programme follows the BHF Heartstart programme teaching: \n\nCPR\,\nRecovery Position\,\nManagement of choking.\n\nEach of these skills are taught in a three-step method: \n\nA thorough explanation of the theory at the beginning\,\nA practical demonstration\,\nA chance for participants to practice and perfect their technique.\n\nTickets \nTickets will be available from the 15th of August.\nThe course is delivered over a 1 hour session. \nPlease book 1 ticket per person for 1 of the two sessions on the day. \n
