DESCRIPTION:A structured\, one-year Islamic studies and leadership programme designed for those seeking comprehensive grounding in the Islamic sciences within a practical\, contemporary framework designed to develop skills for teaching\, da’wah\, youth work\, community leadership\, and other areas of public engagement. \nA Genuine Need in the Community \nAcross the UK\, there is a clear absence of structured Islamic studies programmes that prepare Muslims for active community engagement in today’s context. Whilst there is strong demand for serious Islamic learning\, existing options either lack depth or fail to address the real social\, pastoral\, and public challenges facing Muslims. This course is designed specifically to develop individuals who combine sound Islamic knowledge with the ability to tackle modern issues in fields such as education\, social work\, media\, community leadership and other areas of public engagement with confidence and wisdom. It fills a genuine gap by training people not merely to study Islam\, but to apply it meaningfully within the communities they serve. \nCourse Information \n\nDates: September 2026 – July 2027 | Mon to Thurs\, 9am–3pm\n£2\,499 per year (£2299 early-bird price available until 24th April)\n£100 deposit to secure your place\, outstanding balance due by 24th August 2026.\nTermly payment plan available for those experiencing financial difficulty (subject to approval\, contact us for more information).\n\nAfter paying the deposit\, you will be contacted via email with information on how to pay the remaining fees and further information about the course. \nWhy Should I Enrol? \n\n⁠Gain systematic grounding in core Islamic sciences through a year-long programme designed to develop understanding\, not just information.\n⁠Study Islam alongside contemporary subjects that prepare you to engage confidently with modern social\, educational\, and pastoral challenges.\n⁠Access a level of Islamic study without the need to relocate or pursue full-time study abroad.\n\nFAQ’s \n \n1Who can attend this course?Our course is for brothers and sisters aged 18+ and the content will be targeted accordingly.\n2Can I bring my child?Unfortunately\, the Masjid does not have any specific childcare facilities and we will be unable to look after any children during classes \n3What is your cancellation policy?We do not offer refunds following the start of the course. This includes any remaining balance in the case of a payment plan which must still be cleared if you wish to withdraw from the course.\n4How long is the course?In total\, there are 33 weeks or approximately nine months of teaching.\n4Can I register for a specific term or attend partly?Unfortunately\, this is not possible.\n4Can I join online?This course will not be delivered online or livestreamed.\n4Will there be exams?Yes\, there will be assessments throughout the year and a final exam at the end of the year.
