DESCRIPTION:Through the power of unity on a single day of action\, every year\, thousands of members of the public are taught Basic Life Support skills in Mosques around the UK & internationally. \nHistory \nLifesavers started in 2014 as the ‘BLS Mosque Project’\, teaching life-saving skills in three Mosques in London. By the Mercy of Allah\, the project has expanded each consecutive year – being taught in Masjids up and down the country \nThe Programme \nThe BIMA Lifesavers programme follows the BHF Heartstart programme teaching: \n\nCPR\,\nRecovery Position\,\nManagement of choking.\n\nEach of these skills are taught in a three-step method: \n\nA thorough explanation of the theory at the beginning\,\nA practical demonstration\,\nA chance for participants to practice and perfect their technique.\n\nTickets \nTickets will be available from the 30th of August.\nThe course is delivered over a 1 hour session. \nPlease book 1 ticket per person for 1 of the two sessions on the day. \n

DESCRIPTION:Cheadle Masjid is pleased to announce an Adhan workshop with Qari Michael Mala. \nMaking the call to prayer is a great blessing\, the Prophet ‎ﷺ said: “The muadhins will have the longest necks (a sign of honour) of the people on the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim) \nJoin us for this important workshop in which Qari Michael will explain how to make the call to prayer with correct tajweed\, melody\, and breath control. There will also be a discussion on some of the Fiqh points related to calling the adhan. \nAll participants will have the chance to receive an Ijazah in the adhan\, connecting back to the first muadhin\, Hazrat Bilal (R). Furthermore\, approved participants will also be added to the Cheadle Masjid adhan rota Insha’Allah.

An ECB Support Coach is not qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and therefore must be supervised by a qualified cricket coach. \nCourse content: \n\nSupporting coaches and players\nCommunicating with coaches and players\nSupporting fielding\, bowling and batting\nSafety\nDifferentiation\n\nWho is it for? \nAnyone aged 16 and over wishing to support qualified coaches\, inspire players and make a difference to the game. \nCommitment: \n\nOne face-to-face module lasting three hours\nTwo bitesize e-learning modules lasting 10-15 minutes each\nMultiple choice question assessment.\n\nPre-requisites for certification: \n\n16 years old (male and females welcome) – please note course instructor will be male.\nValid safeguarding training e.g. Safeguarding Young Cricketers.\nValid ECB DBS.\n\nThe last two we will issue you with links to complete the relevant documentation once you have purchased your ticket. \nPlease ensure you purchase your ticket before 12th December.
