DESCRIPTION:Through the power of unity on a single day of action\, every year\, thousands of members of the public are taught Basic Life Support skills in Mosques around the UK & internationally. \nHistory \nLifesavers started in 2014 as the ‘BLS Mosque Project’\, teaching life-saving skills in three Mosques in London. By the Mercy of Allah\, the project has expanded each consecutive year – being taught in Masjids up and down the country \nThe Programme \nThe BIMA Lifesavers programme follows the BHF Heartstart programme teaching: \n\nCPR\,\nRecovery Position\,\nManagement of choking.\n\nEach of these skills are taught in a three-step method: \n\nA thorough explanation of the theory at the beginning\,\nA practical demonstration\,\nA chance for participants to practice and perfect their technique.\n\nTickets \nTickets will be available from the 30th of August.\nThe course is delivered over a 1 hour session. \nPlease book 1 ticket per person for 1 of the two sessions on the day. \n

Dr Salah Sharief is the editor of the book and will talk us through the journey of bringing this book into fruition. \nFollowing Dr Yasir Qadhi’s ground-breaking video lecture series on the sīrah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ\, this book is an equally impactful written adaptation. It provides a refreshing insight into the life of the Final Messenger and contextualises the sīrah in the modern-day context. \nThere will also be an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the book\, paperback and hardback will be available Insha’Allah.

DESCRIPTION:Cheadle Masjid is pleased to announce an Adhan workshop with Qari Michael Mala. \nMaking the call to prayer is a great blessing\, the Prophet ‎ﷺ said: “The muadhins will have the longest necks (a sign of honour) of the people on the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim) \nJoin us for this important workshop in which Qari Michael will explain how to make the call to prayer with correct tajweed\, melody\, and breath control. There will also be a discussion on some of the Fiqh points related to calling the adhan. \nAll participants will have the chance to receive an Ijazah in the adhan\, connecting back to the first muadhin\, Hazrat Bilal (R). Furthermore\, approved participants will also be added to the Cheadle Masjid adhan rota Insha’Allah.
